I have always loved to create. My creativity started at a very young age with cooking. It brings me a warm joy to see people enjoy whatever it is that I create.
I began as a teenager sculpting jewelry with clay and selling it to my friends. Upon moving to Charlotte, NC as a young adult, I was approached by a gallery owner about selling my jewelry and told me I should take some pottery classes.
I will never forget my first pottery class, I loved the feel of clay and the endless possibilities of what I could create. After years of pottery I became intrigued with some of the fused glass pieces and lampwork beads I was seeing. I took several classes on working with and melting glass and was instantly hooked on the almost instant gratification of seeing my creations.I find a lot of my inspiration by studying God’s word. We are all given a special gift, talent that we are to use to spread His word and His son Jesus
I Peter 4:10-11 As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
